BRUNSWICK — Owen P. Austin, 77, of Baribeau Drive, died July 31 at Parkview Adventist Medical Center.
He was born Nov. 28, 1935, in Brunswick, the son of Coleman A. and Virginia E. Wallace Austin. On Oct. 6, 1957, he married Olive Senz.
Austin served in the Korean War, and was self employed for most of his life.
He is survived by his wife Olive Austin, of Brunswick; his sons, Coleman, Owen and his wife Julie, Harold and his wife Freda, and Gordon and his wife Breanna; his daughters, Debbie Joslyn and her husband Gary Sr., Connie Bernier and her husband Mike, Wanda Jones and her husband Preston, Virginia Rutz, and Kimberly; brother Norm Austin; sisters Mary Goodenow, Myrtle Greene and Shirley Hart; 22 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Austin was predeceased by his brother Harold and sister Lena Williams.
At his request there will be no services.
