The Rockland Yacht Club/Rockland Community Sailing youth keelboat race will be held at 5 p.m. Thursday. The race raises money for sailing scholarships. Marshwood High fall sports practices begin Aug. 19 as follows: boys’ soccer, secondary field, 8 to 9:30 a.m. and 3:45 to 5:30 p.m.; girls’ soccer, secondary field, 9:15 to 11:30 a.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.; field hockey, 7 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.; football, 8 to 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 to 6 p.m.; cheering, cafeteria, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; cross country, meet on track, 8 to 10 a.m.; golf, Links at Outlook, 2 to 5 p.m. Athletes should bring water bottles, equipment and appropriate clothing.
