SEATTLE (AP) — Police say a gunman has died after barging onto a bus in downtown Seattle during rush hour and shooting the driver.

The gunman was shot on Monday after a foot chase that ended when he ran onto another bus and was shot by police through the windows.

The man, who has not been identified by police, was given CPR at the scene and taken to a hospital.

The wounded driver remains in satisfactory condition.

Two officers and several passengers on the second bus suffered minor injuries.
