BOWDOINHAM — Frank C. Neiman III, 70, of Bowdoinham, died August 14, 2013, at his home surrounded by his family following a courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born on November 2, 1942, in Bally, PA, to Frank C. and Ardeth (Deturk) Neiman.
After graduating from high school he married Priscilla Thayer in 1964 and they later moved with their family to Bowdoinham in 1972.
An avid reader, woodcrafter and artist, Frank held many jobs including medical supplies sales, management and woodcrafting.
He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his sons Russ Neiman and wife Diane and Marc Neiman; his grandchildren Lillian E. Smith and Hayley O. Neiman.
He was predeceased by his wife, his son Robbie and his sister Doris.
The family wishes to thank Carl Demars, M.D., and his nurse for their wonderful care they provided to Frank. Also to CHAN’s Hospice, especially Jean, Angel, Crystal and Jo.
At Frank’s request, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made in Frank’s name to a local food bank of your choice.
