• The University of Maine women’s soccer team will hold a free, one-hour skills clinic for high school girls at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Deering High School’s Memorial Field. Following the clinic, the Black Bears take on the Harvard Crimson in a 1 p.m. exhibition game. Admission is free to both the clinic and the game.

 

• The 33rd annual Maine Sport Triathalon will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday at Barrett’s Cove on Megunticook Lake in Camden. Racers can preregister at www.active.com or at 8 a.m. on the morning of the triathalon. The triathalon is limited to the first 200 participants and entry fees are $40 per individual and $70 per team. • Mercy Hospital will host its annual Partnership in Caring Golf Classic on Sept. 6 at Falmouth Country Club. The Caring Golf Classic will begin at noon on Friday with a shotgun start.
