
Ruth worked for Dr. Contartese of Freeport for many years. She was an active member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Ruth loved to spend just about every waking moment outdoors in her vegetable and flower gardens. She also enjoyed knitting and donating mittens and was known as a good cookie maker.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Ann Webber and husband William; her granddaughter Lauri Donovan and her husband Brian; her granddaughter Sharon Richard and her children: Colin, Craig and Jenna; several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Suzie, aka
“Sniffy.”
She was predeceased by her husband in 1982, her son Paul Richard and her grandson Craig Richard.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2013, at 9 a.m. at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 134 Main Street, Freeport. A reception will follow in the church hall. Burial will be in Morrill at a later time.
