PORTLAND (AP) — A Maine man has been sentenced to more than five years in prison for being a felon in possession of firearms.
Anthony Foglio was sentenced Wednesday in U.S. District Court. He had pleaded guilty in May.
Court records say Foglio, 28, of Waterboro bought and sold nine firearms last year.
Agents contacted the businesses involved and learned that Foglio was present for each transaction, but that he used third parties to conduct them.
Agents interviewed the third parties and each admitted to conducting the transaction for Foglio, who took the firearms.
Foglio had felony convictions in Maine for theft, criminal mischief, and burglary.
