The site of Five Fields Farm was settled by Enoch Perley and his family in 1776. Operating as a diversified farm for 130 years, it was set to apple trees in the late 1920s by John Gyger. The farm derives its name from the first five fields planted as orchards.

Plowshares Community Farm

They grow a collection of unique apple varieties, vegetables and other farm-raised products. The farm stand is open Tuesday through Saturday, 12-6 p.m. through November.


Pulsifer Orchard

24 Pulsifer Orchard Drive (Bracket Road), Cornish

Pick-your-own apples and farmstand. They offer many popular apple varieties including jonagold and honeycrisp, as well as classic apples, McIntosh and cortland.


Randall Orchards

Located off Route 25, 1?4-mile over the Gorham and Standish line, on left. Open from late August to the middle of November. They have many varieties of apples, peaches, pumpkins, gourds and squash.


Ricker Hill Orchards

Ricker Hill Orchards has been growing apples for more than eight generations. They grow everything from crisp red apples and sourly sweet cranberries.


Snell Family Farm

Thompson’s Orchard has been a family-owned business since 1906. They have several apple varieties available for pick-your-own as well as ready-picked. They press fresh cider on site. The donut shop has become very popular.
