WATERVILLE (AP) — Waterville Housing Authority officials say they’re taking proper measures to control a bedbug infestation at an authority apartment complex, but residents say not enough is being done.

Authority executive director Diane Townsend says the parasites have been found in two apartments in the 27-unit complex on Louise Avenue.

Marieda Call is one of about 20 tenants who signed a petition asking the authority to check and treat every apartment and the common areas including laundry rooms, community kitchen and hallways for bedbugs.
