If you are a resident of Scarborough and have a valid Scarborough Public Library card, you can start reading eBooks today, for free. Join Catherine Morrison, adult services librarian, for a “skill-building” program on the Library’s eBook services on Thursday, Sept. 26. To accommodate busy schedules, the program is being offered at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

This hands-on program will introduce participants to the library’s Cloud Library, an innovative eBook delivery system launched last fall. Morrison will also review eBook resources available through the Maine InfoNet Download Library.

Those attending are encouraged to bring their e-Readers. The library will also have some e-Reader models available for demonstration purposes.

This program is free and open to the public, however registration is required to attend. Contact Adult Services at 883-4723, ext. 4, or visit the Reference Desk. For more information about this and other programming at the Scarborough Public Library, visit the library’s website at www.scarboroughlibrary.org.
