WESTBROOK – Sam Peck rushed for one touchdown and caught a pass for another Friday night, and Greely recovered from an early deficit to roll past Westbrook 41-8 in a Western Class B schoolboy football game at Olmsted Field.

The Rangers (3-1) scored 41 unanswered points after Westbrook (2-2) had the first touchdown of the game.

Westbrook took the early lead when Collin Joyce ran for a 38-yard touchdown and converted the rush on the 2-point conversion. But Conner Hanley of Greely returned the ensuing kickoff 77 yards for a touchdown.

James Ferrar finished with 118 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries for Greely. Quarterback Matt Pisini rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown.

FALMOUTH 55, OCEANSIDE 6: Storm Covens ran for three touchdowns in the first quarter and Falmouth (3-1) went on to down Oceanside (0-4) at Rockland.

Covens carried 13 times for 108 yards and quarterback Noah Nelson completed 6 of 11 passes for 70 yards and three touchdowns.

Justin Rogers caught five passes, two for touchdowns, and Matt Edmonds was the target for Nelson’s other completion, a 19-yard score.

Joey Goodrich booted five extra points and gave the Yachstmen two more points with a safety in the third quarter. IV Stucker returned the ensuing punt for a touchdown, giving Falmouth a 49-0 lead.

Oceanside scored in the fourth quarter on a 53-yard run by Preston Spear, who finished with 104 yards on nine attempts. Henry Berry carried twice for 70 yards and Thomas Curtis blocked a punt for the Mariners.

BIDDEFORD 32, LEWISTON 30: Capen Macomber scored his fourth touchdown of the game early in the fourth quarter and finished with 113 yards rushing as the Tigers (3-1) held off the Blue Devils (2-2) at Biddeford.

Lewiston scored with one minute left to cut the deficit to 32-30, but the Tigers were able to stop a rushing attempt on a 2-point conversion.

Corey Creeger added nine rushes for 132 yards for the Tigers, who had seven players combine for more than 350 yards rushing.

Creeger also caught a 12-yard touchdown pass from Casey Twomey.

BOOTHBAY REGION 42, TRAIP ACADEMY 12: Jacob Maddocks rushed for two touchdowns, and Julian Aponte had one on the ground and one in the air as the Seahawks (3-1) downed Traip Academy (1-3) at Boothbay Harbor.

The Seahawks led 28-12 at halftime, then shut out the Rangers the rest of the way.

Jude Alamo and Gabe Purin also had rushing touchdowns, and linebacker Killian Miller turned in an interception for Boothbay.

LAKE REGION 20, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 19: Cody Gibbons scored on a 15-yard run in the fourth quarter to tie the game and the Lakers booted the extra point to win it as Lake Region (2-2) nipped the Patriots (0-4) at Gray.

After Adam Dumas put Gray-New Gloucester ahead with a 30-yard interception return in the first quarter, quarterback Zack Haskell found Justin McKenna with a 30-yard scoring pass in the second as the half ended 13-13.

The Patriots took the lead in the third quarter on a 15-yard pass from Haskell to David Chantlette.

WELLS 40, FREEPORT 23: Jake Moody caught a pair of long touchdowns passes from Nate Booth as the Warriors (3-1) took a 40-0 first-half lead against the Falcons (2-2) at Wells.

Moody also had a fumble return for a touchdown, and Chris Carney rushed for more than 100 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns for Wells.

BRUNSWICK 47, SKOWHEGAN 26: Lukas McCue rushed for three touchdowns and Will Bessey added two scores to lead the Dragons (4-0) past Skowhegan (2-2) at Brunswick.

Skowhegan trailed just 21-20 at the half and 28-20 after three quarters.

Adam Clukey completed 21 of 38 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns for the Indians. Kaleb Brown rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries for Skowhegan.

DJ Allen caught seven passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Owen Mercier also caught a touchdown pass from Clukey. Mercier finished with eight catches for 56 yards.

“We hung in it for as long as we could,” Skowhegan Coach Matt Friedman said.

MARANACOOK 46, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Maranacook (2-2) controlled both sides of the ball and held Sacopee Valley (0-4) to 69 yards at Readfield.

Christopher Robinson rushed for 112 yards on six carries and returned a punt 35 yards for a touchdown for Maranacook. A.J. Stephens added 104 yards on four carries, and Simon Davis rushed seven times for 64 yards. Also, Zach Lacasse had a 42-yard run and Drew Davis went 34 yards for a score, but both were called back by penalties.

Sacopee had trouble with its punting game. In addition to Robinson’s touchdown return, punter Zach Barrows took a 23-yard loss after a snap went over his head, and Barrows had his first punt blocked by Josh Aho.

MESSALONSKEE 48, BREWER 0: Jake Dexter threw for two touchdowns and ran for two more as the Eagles (2-2) cruised past the Witches (0-4) at Brewer.

Devin Warren caught both touchdown passes from Dexter. Corey McKenzie, Zach Mathieu and Bryce Eldridge all rushed for touchdowns for the Eagles, who led 21-0 at the half.

MAINE CENTRAL INSTITUTE 67, MT. VIEW 18: The Huskies (4-0) scored 35 points in the second quarter, built a 48-12 halftime lead and beat Mt. View (2-2) at Pittsfield.

CONY 34, LAWRENCE 26: Ben Lucas completed 19 of 31 passes for 322 yards and three touchdowns as Cony (3-1) defeated the Bulldogs (2-2) at Augusta.

Jonathan Saban caught eight passes for 121 yards for Cony.
