
The bride is given in marriage by her son, Lawrence Heffron, and grandson, Zachary Heffron.
Following the ceremony, a gathering was held at the couple’s home and was attended by the bride’s children and best friend, and the groom’s daughter and mother.
The bride, daughter of Barbara Smith of Bath and Oakley Smith of Pittston, is a graduate of Morse High School, and works as a cook for Head Start in Brunswick and is head cashier at Home Depot in Topsham.
The groom, son of Reta Russell Lemar of Dresden and the late Robert Richard Russell, is a graduate of Wiscasset High School, and is the warehouse manager at Preferred Pump in Gardiner.
For a wedding trip, the couple is planning on taking a cruise at a later date.
