FREEPORT — A $14.6 million bond to renovate Freeport High School, and a $1.7 million package for atheltic facilities upgrades, will appear on the Nov. 5 elections ballot.
Regional School Unit 5 directors voted Wednesday night to go to bond on the improvements and enlargement of Freeport High.
The basic plan is $580,000 less than a project defeated by RSU 5 voters in June, and voters have the option of saving another $1.7 million on the athletic fields spending, which would include installation of synthetic turf.
