HAMPDEN — The Brunswick High School field hockey team lost to Hampden Academy 5-0 in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference action on Monday.

The Dragons fell to 1-11 and host Edward Little on Thursday,

Brunswick Goalie Jordan Van Savage had 26 saves.

Kelly Martin paced the 4-7-1 Broncos with three goals, while Katelyn Lyons added a goal and assist, Chareeda Rustanavivul a goal and Blake Thompson an assist.

Brunswick’s Maddie Krolak was a defensive standout, while Margaret Dickinson had three shots on goal, and Hannah Escoe and Samm Clark stood out on offense.

Thursday will be the final home game for seniors Grace Rabinowitz, Clark, Caroline Rivard and Rajini Nixon.

Girls soccer

Brooklynne Lewis scored three goals to lift Carrabec to a 5-2 Mountain Valley Conference win over Lisbon at Lisbon Falls.

Mickayla Willette and Emily Witham each scored a goal for the 6-4-1 Cobras.

Deliah Schrieber had both goals for the Greyhounds, who fell to 5-5 and visit Hall- Dale on Thursday.

Amber Loon scored four goals to lead 9-1 Richmond past host Bangor Christian on Monday.

The Bobcats, scheduled to visit Rangeley today, led 6-0 at the half.

First-half goals were scored by Loon (assisted by Kelsea Anair), Loon (Kyla Johansen), Loon (Meranda Martin), Martin (Anair), Anair (Martin) and Anair (Martin).

Scoring in the second period were Kayla Beaulieu (PK), Loon and Kelsi Obi.

Obi and Bailey Bonarrigo split the goaltending duties and had three saves as the Bobcats outshot their hosts 29-3 and got standout play from Haley Murphy, Nicole Blake, Kayla Patterson and Johansen.
