FREEPORT — Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16, a series of five consecutive Wednesday evening classes will provide an opportunity to learn the basics needed to research one’s ancestry.

Class dates and topics include “Genealogy 101: Back To Basics,” “Common Genealogical Research Databases,” “Genealogy Deep Dive: Ancestry.com,” “The Organized Genealogist” and “Smashing The Genealogy Brick Wall.”
