BOWDOINHAM — The Bowdoinham Comprehensive Planning Committee invites residents to a meeting tonight to provide opinions about the town’s future as part of the town’s vision for 2023.
The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. at Town Hall, 13 School St. Attendees will discuss specific land-use strategies to achieve the 2023 vision for Bowdoinham. Craig Freshley of Brunswick is facilitator.
The town’s Comprehensive Plan is a 10-year plan that forms the basis for the town’s land-use ordinances. The State’s Growth Management Act requires that the town identify areas it wants to encourage growth and those areas it wants to remain rural.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
