BRUNSWICK — Five state legislators will speak during a forum on women’s issues related to work and family at Curtis Memorial Library.

“Women at the Table: The Economy and Reproductive Rights” will be held in the seminar room from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 6, at the library on Pleasant Street.

Topics of discussion will include status of women in Maine, their access to jobs, day care for their children, health care including Medicaid expansion, contraception and abortion.

Sens. Chris Johnson, DDistrict 20, and Eloise Vitelli, D-District 19; as well as Reps. Mattie Daughtry, DBrunswick, Jennifer DeChant, D-Bath, and Jeremy Saxton, D-Harpswell; and Arrowsic’s Judy Kahrl, the founder of Grandmothers for Reproductive Rights, will participate in the forum.
