BRUNSWICK — Police apprehended a Brunswick man Friday at a Cook’s Corner convenience store after he brandished a knife and threatened to slash tires on customers’ cars.

Personnel at the 190 Bath Road store reported a disturbance at 4:25 p.m. Shortly afterward, police arrested Craig Austin Worthing, 63, and charged him with criminal threatening.

No damage to cars or injuiries to customers were reported. Worthing was bailed from the police station later that evening and ordered to appear in West Bath District Court.
