WATERVILLE — Thomas College (4-12, 2-7 NAC) blanked Green Mountain (5- 11, 2-7 NAC) in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) women’s soccer match on Saturday, 3-0.
Elizabeth Anderson led the Terriers with four shots, finding the back of the net on one of them and added an assist in the win.
The Terriers struck early when Anderson played the ball across the box, where Lindsy Hoopingarner of Richmond picked it up and fired it far post past Eagle keeper Amber Heath.
Thomas outshot its opponent 21-5 on the day, while each team had two corners.
Kate Thibodeau of Woolwich recorded the victory in net with two saves.
Thomas will wait for the final NAC seedings to be released.
