To the Editor:
Natural gas for Lisbon Falls? Possible, if enough Lisbon citizens take the time to contact the Town Office to indicate their interest.
It is a fact that natural gas is half the price of fuel oil. Think of all the fuel money you will save at the end of the year.
All that is necessary is the people of Lisbon to express their interests to Lisbon’s town manager with a simple phone call, or sign a petition found at the Lisbon Town Office.
It’s not too late. The local oil delivery guys will fight it tooth and nail; nonetheless, wouldn’t it be wonderful to have natural gas in the Lisbon area? Converting to natural gas is easy, and it would pay for itself in a very short time.
