In addition to the five state bond measures, coastal communities will weigh these ballot items Tuesday:

Arrowsic, a Regional School Unit 1 community, will vote on a bond measure to improve schools, and residents in north Arrowsic will also vote for a new RSU 1 board member.

Harpswell will vote on whether or not to purchase a piece of waterfront property abutting the town landing for the sum of $85,000. Harpswell residents can vote at one of three locations — the Merriconeag Grange for Harpswell Neck and Mountain Road voters; Old Orr’s Island School House for Orr’s and Bailey Island voters; and Cundy’s Harbor Community Building for Great Island voters.

Phippsburg will vote on the RSU 1 referendum and the state bond referenda only. Polls at Town Hall are open from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

West Bath will elect a new selectman. The only candidate, Peter Oceretko, is running unopposed. West Bath will also vote on the RSU 1 bond.

Woolwich has two select board terms coming due, but both incumbents are running and no one else has filed papers.

In addition, Woolwich voters will elect a new RSU 1 school board member. Currently no one is on the ballot, but current school board member Robin Buczkowski is mounting a write-in campaign. Polling times and places for these and other races will appear in Monday’s editions of The Times Record.
