No one was hurt when a vehicle struck a school bus Wednesday afternoon on Cathance Road, Topsham police say.
Police responded to the crash at 2:47 p.m., Lt. Fred Dunn said.
A school bus with 17 Mt. Ararat middle and high school students aboard, driven by Donald Macinnis, 66, of Brunswick,was stopped on Cathance Road in the area of Beechwood Drive. when a 1998 Subaru Forester driven by Felecia Barker, 27, of Brunswick, struck it from behind, Dunn said.
Barker was districted by her 3-year-old child who was in the vehicle; she did not notice the bus was stopped, Dunn said.
Dunn said no one was injured in the crash. The Subaru was towed from the scene with front-end damage and the 2006 Freightliner school bus sustained minor damage to the rear.
