Honoring Veterans on Veterans Day, featuring an ecumenical service at 11 a.m., a flagpole ceremony at noon and a 1 p.m. panel discussion with several veterans. All events are free and open to the public and are held at Saint Joseph’s College, 278 Whites Bridge Road, Standish.

A Harvest of Resources Fair, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, for veterans and their families with more than 40 organizations on hand. Chip Morrison, president of Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, will be the keynote speaker. Lifetime Veteran State Parks passes will be available with a DD214 form. Air National Guard Airman 1st Class Nicholas J. Brown graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. He is the son of Tami Brown of Topsham and is a 2009 graduate of Morse High School, Bath.

Air Force Airman Evan R. Moran graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Moran is the son of Steven Moran of Gray and is a 2012 graduate of Gray New-Gloucester High School.
