AUGUSTA (AP) — Police in Maine are on the lookout for a suspect who robbed a pharmacy inside a Shaw’s supermarket.
Augusta police say a man in his 20s with a short scruffy beard approached the pharmacy counter inside the Western Avenue supermarket at about 12:25 p.m. Monday. He was given Oxycontin painkiller pills after handing over a threatening note.
Authorities say the man ran off and was tracked to a nearby parking lot, but he hasn’t been located.
