SURRY (AP) — A Maine bus driver who made students wear duct tape over their mouths for being loud is no longer behind the wheel.

The bus driver at Surry Elementary School was removed from her position last week after two fourthgrade girls told their principal that the driver made them put the tape over their mouths.

The Portland Press Herald says neither the school district nor the company contracted to provide bus service identified the driver. She’s on leave during an investigation.
