BATH — A Bath man was arrested and charged with drug trafficking Monday by Bath police in cooperation with the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Department and Maine Drug Enforcement Agency.

Special MDEA agents arrested Michael J. Graffam, 39, at 9 Charles St. Monday and charged him with unlawful drug trafficking, a felony punishable by up to 10 years incarceration and a $20,000 fine.

Bath police stated in a release issued Thursday that the arrest followed an investigation involving the sale of prescription medication from Graffam’s former residence at 283 Centre St., in Bath, on Oct. 22.

Graffam was given a court date of Jan. 14, 2014.
