BRUNSWICK — The University of Maine Brunswick Engineering Program, in partnership with Southern Maine Community College, will host a Robotics and Engineering Event for students at Portland and Kennebunk high schools and Lewiston Regional Technical Center, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, at the Maine Advanced Technology & Engineering Center, 29 Sewall St.
From 10 a.m. to noon, tours of the center and an alternate design competition will be offered.
This activity is to expose high school students, particularly underserved minorities, to science, technology, engineering and mathematics. It is the conclusion of a larger program hosted at MATEC. For more information, visit www.umaine.edu/ brunswickengineering.
