SAGADAHOC COUNTY Sheriff’s Deputy Al Huntington is seconds away from an icy splash, above, during Saturday’s second annual Polar Bear Dip into the Cathance River in Bowdoinham. The event, which took place at Mailly Waterfront Park, gave people an opportunity to raise money for a charity or organization of their choice if they were brave enough to take the plunge.
