Air Force Airman Scott D. Wooldridge graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Wooldridge is the son of Travis Wooldridge of Westbrook and is a 2010 graduate of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, Corona, Calif.
Navy Seaman Apprentice Bryan D. Profit, nephew of Mary Carroll of Scarborough, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill. Profit is a 2013 graduate of Scarborough High School.
The South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Rotary Club, in cooperation with the Veterans Administration, has made a donation of an additional 11 beds that provide for a family of four and several other veterans. The club has also arranged a bus pass program with Zoom and Shuttlebus-Intercity to provide transportation to many southern Maine veterans. Officials at the Veterans Administration will manage and distribute the passes.
