BATH — Tripp outscored Bath 9-0 in the third quarter to pull away for a 47-21 victory in eighth-grade girls middle basketball action on Thursday.
The visitors led 20-14, 32-18 and 41- 18 at the quarter breaks.
Sierra Wallace had seven points to lead Bath, which also received six points from Mackenzie Johnston, and four each from Marissa Parks and Aubrey Martin.
A good effort was turned in by Wallace and Claudia Serban.
Tripp was three of eight at the foul line, with Bath making two of 11 at the charity stripe.
Bath is 1-1, while Tripp improved to 3-0.
