BRUNSWICK
Town officials have declared a parking ban starting at 11 p.m. tonight through 7 a.m., Wednesday, for all public streets and municipal parking lots.
Parking in restricted areas during the ban could result in a vehicle being ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
The announcement comes in advance of an anticipated snowstorm expected to bring 3 to 5 inches of new snow for most of the Mid-coast, with higher totals further up the coast, tonight into early tomorrow.
Most of The Times Record readership area is under a winter weather advisory from 2 p.m. today through 7 a.m. Wednesday. Wiscasset, in Lincoln County, is under a winter storm warning issued by the National Weather Service, where 4 to 8 inches of snow is possible.
