After the first sizeable storm of the season passed through southern Maine leaving a foot of snow in its wake, thrill seekers of all ages made their way to Fort Williams in Cape Elizabeth for some ideal sledding conditions.
The lure of speed and fresh, soft snow brought, from left, Isabella Pasquale, Christine Wirth and Joseph Sullivan to the gentle hills of the park. Camdyn Morrill, left, and Sam Rainsford of South Portland begin to pick up speed as they make another sledding run.
