BANGOR — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night in a supermarket parking lot in Bangor, police said.
Police responded around 8 p.m. to a call about a car-pedestrian collision and found the pedestrian dead upon their arrival, according to a Bangor Police Department news release.
The incident occurred in the Hannaford parking lot at the Airport Mall, 1129 Union St., the release said.
“This accident is currently under investigation by the Bangor Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division and we will not be releasing any additional information at this time,” Bangor police Sgt. Catherine Rumsey said in the release.
No further details were available as of late Saturday.
