“Blue Christmas” service, 6:30 p.m., also known as a service of solace and remembrance. People’s United Methodist Church, 21 Depot St., Union.

“Longest Night” service, 4 p.m., a service of healing and hope. Blue Point Congregational Church, 236 Pine Point Road, Scarborough. A simple meal of soup and bread will be served following the service.
