BATH — Audrey Marie Munsey has gone home to be with her Lord, on Dec. 12, 2013, at Winship Green Nursing Center.

She was born to Clyde Pinkham and Pauline Moore Pinkham in Bath, Maine, at the Bath Hospital on April 28, 1928.

She grew up in Georgetown, and as a teenager she taught herself to play guitar, sing, yodel, and oil paint. In adulthood, she entertained at nursing homes and other public events with her music, mostly old-time country, bluegrass, and gospel. She loved painting Maine seascapes and ships.

Her first husband was Gerald Joseph McCartney (deceased). They had five children, Clyde J. McCartney (deceased), Audrey Glidden (husband Donald Glidden), Linda McCartney, Gerald McCartney, and Elizabeth Brockman (husband Frank Brockman).

Her second husband was Theodore Anderson (deceased).

Her third husband was Ellery “Bud” Munsey (deceased). Her stepdaughters from that marriage are Josephine York (husband Frederick York), Fay St. Pierre (husband Raymond St. Pierre), and Millis Perry.

Also surviving are sisters Elizabeth Gaudreau, Evelyn Leeman and several nieces, nephews, and grandchildren: Sean Glidden, Matthew Glidden, Christian Glidden, and Hope Albright.

She was a member of East Brunswick Baptist Church.

The family wishes to thank the Skolfield House, Winship Green, and Beacon Hospice for their kind, patient, loving care she received in her last years.

There will be a private service at a later date.
