BRUNSWICK — As part of its ongoing Ounce of Prevention series, Mid Coast Senior Health Center will host “When is it Time to Give Up the Keys?” — a presentation by David Currier, manager of education and helpline services at the Alzheimer’s Association’s Maine Chapter.

The event is Monday, Jan. 13 with a snow date of Jan. 20, 11 a.m. to noon, at the Mid Coast Senior Health Center, 58 Baribeau Drive.

The presentation is for families and individuals who are dealing with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia. Making a decision about when it is time to stop driving can be difficult, but dealing with the issue early on can help ease the transition. The program will offer strategies, tools and resources for having the conversation about driving.

The Ounce of Prevention is a monthly series providing education about health and health care issues sponsored by Mid Coast Senior Health Center.
