BANGOR (AP) — Maine utility officials say most customers are being patient as power restoration efforts continue following an ice storm. But that’s not the case with all of them.

Bangor Hydro officials tell WABI-TV that they had to pull workers from an area after receiving threats from someone in the town of Surry.

Spokeswoman Susan Faloon says the customer approached a line crew and then made a threatening phone call Thursday. She said the customer became angry upon learning that the crew wasn’t working on the circuit necessary to restore his power.

State police investigated the call and say they are not filing any charges. Utility crews later returned to the areas.
