Archeologist Bruce Bourque will talk about his new book, “The Swordfish Hunters: The History and Ecology of an Ancient American Sea People,” at a meeting of the Friends of Merrymeeting Bay. Bourque’s writing interweaves four narratives into an engaging account of the distinctive Red Paint culture of ancient coastal Maine. The talk will take place following a potluck supper.
