BIDDEFORD — Aline Valliere, 91, of Biddeford, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough.

She was born March 23, 1922 in Biddeford, a daughter of Henri and Eva (Larose) Bourque.

She was educated in Biddeford schools and was a 1940 graduate of Biddeford High School.

On Feb. 15, 1947, she married Maurice Valliere at St. Andre’s Church in Biddeford.

She was employed at the Pepperell Mills in Biddeford for 25 years and retired when the mills closed.

Aline was a homemaker and enjoyed doing her daily crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed going out for lunch each day with her husband. She was a loving person and loved being with her family.

She will be sadly missed by her family and all who

knew her.

She was preceded in death by: a brother, Rene; and a sister, Therese.

Aline is survived by: her husband of 66 years, Maurice Valliere of Biddeford; two sons, Dennis Valliere and his spouse Adam Ogden of Gorham and John Valliere and his wife Lucille of Parsonsfield; one granddaughter, Lianne Smith and her husband Dan; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Harrison Smith, all of Rochester, Ill.; and several loving nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. An 11 a.m. memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014 at Hope Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Biddeford.
