BIDDEFORD — Muriel R. Dumont, 80, formerly of South Street in Biddeford, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 at the Evergreen Manor, with her family beside her.
She was born in Biddeford May 18, 1933 the daughter of George and Agnes Ronco Boutin.
She attended local schools. She was employed at Allied Shoe and later with John Roberts Manufacturing in the stitching area for more than 18 years.
Muriel enjoyed cooking, spending time with her family and her bingo.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish.
Muriel was predeceased by: her husband, Leo Paul Dumont, in 2011.
She is survived by: two sons, Ronald Dumont and his companion Denise of Manchester, N.H., and Steven and his wife Denise of Lewiston; three daughters Susan Perrault of Portland, Linda Hall and her husband Kevin of Biddeford and Carol Laverrier and her husband Jay of Biddeford; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Friends and family may call Thursday from 11 a.m. to noon at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco. A noontime service will immediately follow at the funeral home, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
