Both Betty and I are thankful for the great job the town of Raymond and its telecommunications staff have done to allow all of its citizens to keep abreast of the actions of it various boards in real time.
Even though we spend our winters elsewhere, we are able to watch live broadcasts of all the meetings of the various town boards and committees. This means that everyone, whether they are full-time residents or summer folks, can stay informed as to what actions are being undertaking on their behalf. I would bet that very few towns in Maine live-stream their meetings. Because of it we feel very close to the action. Our hats are off to the people who make this happen.
