PORTLAND (AP) — Police have arrested a Portland man they say has been making and spending counterfeit $20 bills.
Several businesses in Portland and Falmouth have reported getting fake $20 bills in the past few weeks.
On Tuesday, police aided by the U.S. Secret Service executed a search warrant at the home of 27-year-old Jonathan McDonald. Police allege they found copy machines, more than $1,000 in counterfeit money, and a small amount of heroin in the basement of the home.
