CONCORD, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire Congressman Annie Kuster, a member of the Congressional Ski and Snowboard Caucus, has taken part in a send-off to Sochi event in Washington for the U.S. ski and snowboard teams preparing for the Olympics.

The send-off on Monday also welcomed former Olympians and members of the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association.

A former collegiate ski racer, Kuster joined with Wyoming Congresswoman Cynthia Lummis last year to revive the caucus to acknowledge the importance of winter sports to the New Hampshire economy and to the nation as a whole.
