BIDDEFORD — Marc R. Laflamme, 54, of Biddeford, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 at Maine Medical Center of injuries suffered in an accidental fall.
He was born June 10, 1959 in Biddeford, a son of Normand R. and Lorraine E. (Gosselin) Laflamme, and was educated locally, graduating from Biddeford High School in 1977.
He graduated from Bentley College with his bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Marc was employed at Aetna Insurance Company for many years and later worked as a waiter at local restaurants.
He loved outdoor activities, especially hiking and going to the beach where he “connected” with feeding the seagulls.
Marc volunteered much of his time helping others.
Marc was preceded in death by: his mother on March 21, 2009; and his father on
July 19, 2013.
He is survived by: two brothers, Guy N. Laflamme and his wife Romaine of North Berwick and Michael A. Laflamme of Kennebunkport; two sisters, Debbie Benson and her husband Steve of Biddeford and Priscille Hetzel and her husband Larry of Biddeford; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at Hope Memorial Chapel. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Church in Biddeford. Burial will be Tuesday in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
