Estelle Thibodeau

SANFORD — Estelle Thibodeau, 90, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.

She was born in Clair, New Brunswick, Canada on April 28, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (Soucy) Morin.

For many years, she was employed at Tenneford Weaving. She enjoyed and loved music, parties, family gatherings and the company of her great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by: her husband, Camille Thibodeau; one son and daughter-in-law, Gill Thibodeau and his wife Frances; and one daughter, Nicole (Thibodeau) St. Jean.

She is survived by: her children, Jacques Thibodeau of Florida, Jean Claude Thibodeau and his wife Raymonde of Sanford, Dorise Alfiero and her husband Brian of Connecticut, Mona Thibodeau of Connecticut, Leo Thibodeau and his wife Patricia of Washington, Maine, Philip Thibodeau and his wife Paulette of Old Orchard Beach, Lise Thibodeau and companion Shirley of Springvale, and Roger Thibodeau and his wife Becky of Florida; sisters, Theresa Pelletier of Florida, Jeannine LaPlante of Baker Brook, New Brunswick, Canada, Esther Millican of Tennessee, and Giselle Beaulieu of Ontario, Canada; 19 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. at the Lafrance-Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St., Sanford. A funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Visiting hours will be from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
