WORCESTER, Mass. — Madeleine A. (Boisvert) Chenard, 95, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday, Feb. 8 in Millbury Healthcare Center in Millbury.
She was born in Biddeford, Maine, the daughter of Eugene and Edna (Gonneville) Boisvert.
She and her husband owned and operated the former Chenard Machine Company.
Her husband of 72 years, Conrad L. Chenard, died in 2012.
She was also preceded in death by: a daughter, Michelle E. Chenard in 1958; and a sister, Florence Janson.
She leaves: three daughters, Suzanne M. Reynolds and Rachel M. Belanger, both of Worcester, and Constance L. Newman and her husband Carl of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
Her funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02884. O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Ave. in Worcester, is assisting with arrangements.
