Two people were hurt when the vehicle they were in hit a utility pole on County Road in Westbrook on Saturday night, police said.
A Westbrook dispatcher said the crash occurred at 396 County Road, in front of a John Deere dealership, around 9 p.m. Saturday. It was snowing at the time, and the dispatcher said he assumes the collision was weather-related, but he said officers hadn’t yet filed a report.
Two people were taken to Maine Medical Center, but the dispatcher said he didn’t know the extent of their injuries.
Central Maine Power Co. was asked to cut power to the site of the crash to make it safer for police and wrecker crews to work.
