A 79-year-old man from Franklin County died while in the state prison facility in Warren early Friday morning, the Maine Department of Corrections said.
George Henry O’Donnell died about 3 a.m., the department said.
O’Donnell’s death is being reviewed by the Maine State Police and the office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which is standard procedure in such cases.
O’Donnell had served about four months of a 30-month sentence for unlawful sexual contact. He was sentenced in October to eight years with all but 30 months suspended. He would have been released in March 2016.
