Maine Audubon will hold the third of a four-part lecture series on eBirding next week. At Gilsland Farm in Falmouth, staff naturalist Doug Hitchcox will explain why field notebooks have turned into eBird checklists. Learn what digital resources are available and how to use them. The Maine Audubon naturalists at Fields Pond Nature Center will lead a winter ecology class, explaining how birds and plants survive in frigid temperatures. The group also will investigate tracks and traces of critters. Call the Audubon center to register, at 989-2591. Cost is $10.
