Wine expert Layne Witherell will talk about his new book “Wine Maniacs: Life in the Wine Biz” at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Kennebunk Free Library, 112 Main St., Kennebunk.

With a background as an importer, wholesaler, retailer of wine and the CEO of a winery, Witherell has also taught, written articles and hosted a radio show about wine. He’s also won an award for a wine list that he created for a Portland, Ore., restaurant.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
